We participate in the health ministry of the Catholic Church and strive to provide healing and compassionate, holistic, and competent care for the sick, convalescent, or dying. We are a bilingual, multicultural, non-profit facility providing a home-like Christian atmosphere.
As a Catholic health ministry, we commit ourselves to honoring these core values:
We respect human life and acknowledge the inherent dignity of each person. We attend lovingly to the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
We promote care for poor, vulnerable, and suffering persons. We provide compassionate, individualized care, creating a home-like Christian atmosphere.
Faith and Hope
We participate in the healing ministry of Jesus in communion with the Church. We foster the attitude “overcome evil with good.”
In collaboration with others, we provide competent care. We promote social justice, ethical behavior, and responsibly steward our human, financial, and environmental resources.
The Matulaitis Home logo displays Christ (pictured in a monstrance) at the center. Christ radiates truth, love, and mercy. The two branches below symbolize our staff members and the residents. The “M” serves two purposes: to remind us that we are under the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It also reminds us that we have our roots through Blessed George Matulaitis.
